UNEC Hosts First Info Session of the ERASMUS+ JM Module Project “EUPMO”
Info-session
As part of the newly launched ERASMUS+ Jean Monnet Module project, UNEC hosted the first information session of “EUPMO – Effective Project Management in the European Union: Best Practices and Case Studies.”
The session featured a presentation by Rauf Mammadov, Head of International projects Office at the International Cooperation Department. He provided an overview of EU-funded projects, key international funding opportunities, and best practices in project proposal development. Participants also gained insights into regional and global intergovernmental projects.
Following the presentation, an engaging discussion took place, focusing on the relevance of EU project management skills in various academic and professional fields.
Designed for students pursuing careers in EU project management, as well as professionals currently involved in EU-funded initiatives, the EUPMO module aims to enhance participants' competencies in this area. It is particularly suitable for students from diverse disciplines, including business, economics, political science, law, and international relations.
At the end of the session, several key initiatives were proposed, including increasing awareness of international research programs among UNEC staff and faculty, organizing targeted training sessions, actively disseminating information on EU project opportunities, and fostering collaboration to address challenges in the field.
